Youth Council Nominations and Election
Nominations for the Sandy Lake Youth Council will take place Friday, November 8th from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. at the Band Office.
Candidates are required to have a nominator and seconder sign their nomination form (available at the Band Office). To be eligible for nomination, potential candidates must be between the ages of 17-29 years and be a Sandy Lake band member.
The Youth Council will be chosen by its peers next week. Five youth will be elected, each representing their respective geographical area of residence.

The Election Committee members will be on hand to greet you and take your comments, suggestions, and other input regarding the draft election code.
Drop by between 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. for a chat and munchies. We want to hear from you.

The Election Committee will be hosting a phone-in radio show Monday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time) as part of the community consultation process.
Band members (on and off-reserve) are encouraged to call in with questions, comments, suggestions and overall input regarding the development of the Band Custom Election Code.
