Sandy Lake Hockey School with Wayne Babych
Former NHL hockey player Wayne Babych will be in Sandy Lake from December 12-14th to do a hockey school with Sandy Lake's young hockey players.
Interested hockey players in the following divisions are invited to participate in this 3-day hockey school at the arena - novice, atom, peewee, bantam, and midget.
Mr. Babych will also be doing a practice and hockey drills with the adult hockey players on Saturday, December 13th.

Thunder Bay Arts & Crafts Christmas Gift Show
The Aboriginal Artworks Group of Northern Ontario (AAGNO) will be hosting it's Annual Aboriginal Fine Art & Crafts Christmas Gift Show and Sale at Victoriaville Mall in Thunder Bay on Thursday, December 11th to Sunday, December 14th, 2008.
Registration will take place at the event starting at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2008.
Cost will be $100.00 per table and artisans can double up to share cost (limited to 2 artisans per table).
Artisans are asked to set-up daily at 8:30 a.m.
