The photogallery seems to up and running again. Administrators will be working at adding the hundreds of photos from the recent months that have been waiting to be posted in the website photogallery.

Sandy Lake First Nation Promotes Responsible Gambling Through Baseball

 

Saturday, September 8, 2007 - Residents of Sandy Lake First Nation caught baseball fever complete with a bbq, home-run derby and live radio commentary throughout the day. The Mental Health, Diabetes Prevention and Brighter Futures Programs coordinated a local co-ed adult baseball tournament to promote Responsible Gambling.

 

FASD Awareness Day Walk - September 7, 2007

 

 

September 9 was chosen as FASD Awareness Day to symbolize the nine months of pregnancy and so that on the ninth day of the ninth month of each year, the world will remember that during the nine months of pregnancy a woman should abstain from alcohol.

 

Show your support and help prevent FASD among our First Nation children.
