Sandy Lake band members will be voting in the general band election on March 26. 

The following council positions will be elected:

1 - Chief
1 - Deputy Chief
8 - Councillors

The following elders council positions will also be elected:

1 - River
1 - Centre
1 - Airport/Big Rock
1 - Old Sawmill/Ghost Point
1 - R.C.

Voting will take place in the Corporation boardroom.  Polls open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2010.  Off-reserve band members can vote by calling the toll-free line at 1-866-450-8399.

There will be an advance poll on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Please be advised that voters do not have to vote for all 10 council positions.  If you wish to vote for only one person, you may do so.  All youth 18 years of age and over are strongly encouraged to vote!
