We would like to congratulate and thank Ida Mae Fiddler and Meagan Anishinabie for completing their cross country bicycle trek from Vancouver, B.C. to Ottawa, Ontario.

These two band members of Sandy Lake First Nation started this initiative to increase awareness and to raise funds for an aftercare program to deal with Oxy-Contin Drug Abuse in Sandy Lake, Ontario. This initiative required commitment and perseverence from the body, mind and soul.

We appreciate your dedication for the betterment of our community.
