The following documents outline the proposed changes to the new Membership Code for Sandy Lake First Nation:

An information session and radio call-in show will be held on Tuesday, May 26.

A referendum to ratify the new Membership Code will be held on Friday, May 30.

what if my children who are not of this band, but i am a sandy lake band member; have children and want to have band membership from sandy lake? what about my grandchildren? what if they chose to and would like to call sandy lake their band and home, because of their grandfather?

Your children and their children can apply to be a member of Sandy Lake First Nation. They will be considered as any transfer application into Sandy Lake. It is easier for them to transfer when you, as a parent, are a member of Sandy Lake First Nation.
